Itinerary

01

Day 1: New York – Philadelphia – Washington, D.C.

New York – Philadelphia – Washington, D.C. (Approx. 240 miles, 4-hour drive)

After breakfast, we will drive to Philadelphia and then on to Washington, D.C.

Independence Hall | Exterior Visit | Approx. 10 min

A renowned historic landmark and a symbol of American independence. Located in downtown Philadelphia, this two-story red-brick building features white-painted windows and a steeple with a large clock. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed here, proclaiming the separation of the North American colonies from Britain and the establishment of the "United States of America."

Liberty Bell | Approx. 30 min

Located in a pavilion west of Independence Hall, the world-famous Liberty Bell is instantly recognizable by its large zigzag crack running from bottom to top. Although irreparable, this very imperfection has inspired deep reverence among Americans, making it a powerful symbol of freedom, American culture, and national pride. The bell rang for the first reading of the Declaration of Independence, the adoption of the U.S. Constitution, Benjamin Franklin's departure to England, public discussions on the Sugar Act and Stamp Act, and the passing of George Washington.

Philadelphia Food Recommendation: Philly Cheesesteak

Philadelphia's most iconic dish: thinly sliced steak and onions grilled on a hot griddle, topped with melted cheese, and served in a long roll. Aromatic and satisfying — a must-try when visiting the city.

Lincoln Memorial | Exterior Visit | Approx. 20 min (Afternoon)

A pristine white Greek temple-style building honoring the 16th U.S. President, Abraham Lincoln. Regarded as an enduring national monument and a symbol of Washington, D.C., it is also a famous gathering place for peace and democracy — most notably where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech.

Korean War Veterans Memorial | Exterior Visit | Approx. 20 min

Located near the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall, this memorial was dedicated on July 27, 1995, honoring the 5.8 million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the three-year Korean War. The site features four elements: 19 life-sized stainless steel statues of soldiers, a black granite Memorial Wall, a Pool of Reflection, and a pathway listing the 22 nations that sent troops to the United Nations Command.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial | Exterior Visit | Approx. 20 min

Located north of the Lincoln Memorial, this V-shaped black granite wall stretches 500 feet and honors American soldiers and officers who died during the Vietnam War. The polished black marble is inscribed with the names of more than 57,000 service members who lost their lives between 1959 and 1975, listed in chronological order by date of death.

The White House | Exterior Visit | Approx. 20 min

A white Neoclassical sandstone building spanning over 73,000 square meters, consisting of the Main Residence and the East and West Wings. As the official workplace and residence of every U.S. President, it is synonymous with the U.S. government. Many key decisions and proclamations are made here. Founding Father George Washington once stated that the President's residence "should never be a palace, nor luxurious, for its master is a servant of the nation."

Washington Monument | Exterior Visit

A landmark of Washington, D.C., built to honor the first U.S. President, George Washington. This hollow stone obelisk is the tallest stone structure in the world.

Food Recommendation: Maryland Blue Crab (at own expense)

One of the most iconic seafood dishes on the U.S. East Coast. With a distinctive blue-green shell and tender, sweet meat, it is best enjoyed steamed or stir-fried with Old Bay seasoning — a fragrant, flavorful local specialty that is a must-try in the Maryland area.

Beyond being a professional museum, it features live glass making demonstrations and craft displays, allowing visitors to experience the charm of glass art up close. The on-site shop offers a variety of glass and crystal souvenirs, such as jewelry and ornaments, making it a great spot for gift shopping.

        • Boutique small-group tours do not permit guests to bring their own National Park Annual Passes or attraction tickets. If guests choose to use their own passes or tickets, we will not provide transportation services for that day, and guests will need to arrange their own transportation.
        • During the tour, the guide or driver reserves the right to adjust the visiting order, duration of stay, or meeting times of attractions as appropriate, based on weather, traffic, and other conditions, to ensure the smooth operation of the itinerary. In the event that an attraction is temporarily closed, or closed due to holidays (such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day), the guide will adjust the arrangement to an exterior view or substitute with another attraction to maintain the richness of the tour. Please note that opening hours and visitor capacity controls at attractions and national parks are subject to change. Any impact on the itinerary caused by such factors is considered force majeure, and no refunds will be issued. Your understanding is appreciated.
        • In the event of natural disasters, adverse weather, strikes, road conditions, or other force majeure factors, the company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary and hotel arrangements to ensure the safety and rights of travelers, with no refunds issued. Force majeure events may prevent us from reaching the designated pick-up or drop-off locations. We shall not be held liable for any inconvenience caused to guests by resulting delays, nor for any related expenses such as flights, trains, or other additional costs incurred.
        • Baggage Allowance: Due to vehicle size and passenger limits, each guest is permitted to bring one 26-inch suitcase. Any baggage exceeding this allowance may not be accommodated.
        • Please keep your belongings secure throughout the tour. In the event of luggage loss at a hotel or during sightseeing, please preserve the scene and report to the police immediately. Our guide will cooperate with the police investigation. To avoid disrupting the travel experience of other guests, our guide will not accompany you in handling the follow-up matters of lost luggage. Any expenses incurred as a result shall be borne by the guest. We recommend purchasing travel property insurance before departure.
        • The company shall not be held liable for any damage to or loss of guests' luggage, handbags, personal belongings, or other items. If needed, please purchase relevant personal overseas travel insurance.
        • If you are traveling with children under 8 years of age, you must inform our customer service team at the time of booking and provide details such as the child's age, to ensure a child safety seat is prepared in advance (USD 20 per use). Failure to provide this information may result in the inability to arrange a safety seat in time, which could lead to itinerary delays until the seat is secured. All costs and losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the guest, including but not limited to: the rental fee for the infant/child safety seat, fines incurred for violating relevant laws and regulations by not securing the child in an appropriate safety seat, and any related expenses resulting from penalties (such as demerit points or license suspension) imposed on the driver/guide, as well as costs associated with guest complaints.
        • Guests joining our boutique small-group tours are required to pay the full tour fare in China. All other expenses not included in the tour package must be paid in cash overseas.
        • Please pay all gratuities and attraction admission fees in cash to the guide on the day of departure. Gratuities are non-refundable in the event of early departure from the tour.
