Niagara Falls

The name of Niagara Falls comes from the Indian language, which means "water of the god of thunder". It is the general name of three waterfalls on the Niagara River in the Great Lakes region of North America. It is known as the world's three major transnational waterfalls along with Iguassu Falls and Victoria Falls. Niagara Falls is famous for its beautiful scenery, huge hydroelectric power generation capacity and extremely challenging environmental protection projects. The entire waterfall spans Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA, forming the Niagara Gorge in the south. Among them, the Horseshoe Falls is located on the border between the United States and Canada, and the American Falls are all located in the United States and separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls is also in the United States, separated from the American Falls by Luna Island.

Cave of the Winds

The entrance to the Cave of the Winds is on Goat Island, where there is a small museum and a small cinema. You can then take an elevator down 53 meters in the Niagara Gorge cave to the bottom of the valley. Standing at the foot of the falls, looking up, you will see the falls rushing down with overwhelming momentum, which can't help but make people feel passionate and resonate with nature.

Bridal Veil Falls

Located east of Chilliwack, Bridal Veil Falls Park is a scenic day-use area. The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a veil-like effect.

American Falls

The American Falls is the second largest of the three waterfalls that together are known as Niagara Falls on the Niagara River along the Canada–United States border. Unlike the much larger Horseshoe Falls, of which approximately 90% is in Ontario, Canada, and 10% in the U.S. state of New York, the American Falls is entirely within the United States.

Goat Island

Goat Island is an Island in the Niagara River located between the two waterfalls that makes up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point is often visited by tourists and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.

Horseshoe Falls

Horseshoe Falls is the largest of the three waterfalls that collectively form Niagara Falls on the Niagara River along the Canada–United States border. Approximately 90% of the Niagara River, after diversions for hydropower generation, flows over Horseshoe Falls.

Niagara Falls State Park

Niagara Falls State Park is located in the City of Niagara Falls in Niagara County, New York, United States. The park, recognized as the oldest state park in the United States, contains the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and a portion of the Horseshoe Falls (also known as the Canadian Falls).

Niagara Falls Observation Tower

The Niagara Falls Observation Tower offers panoramic views of all three Niagara Falls, including the American Falls. Bird watching is also a popular pastime at the Niagara Falls Observation Tower, where bird enthusiasts have the opportunity to spot peregrine falcons, bald eagles, and the many different gull species that exist in the Niagara Gorge, which is in the process of being designated an Audubon Important Bird Area (IBA).

Maid of The Mist

The Maid of the Mist is the most monumental boat trip in the United States since 1846. There is no better way to experience Niagara Falls in the United States. Put on a blue raincoat and take aboard the dreamy Maid of the Mist boat to experience the refreshing mist, surging waves, and roaring waterfalls produced by more than 2 million liters of water per second. As a unique fleet of yachts, under the skilled command of captains, they have been sailing safely in the waves of the Niagara Gorge for more than 100 years and have carried tens of millions of tourists directly into the depths of the misty water.

Skylon Tower

The Skylon Tower allows visitors to get a better view of Niagara Falls. It is the closest tower to the Horseshoe Falls. It is over 100 meters high. Half of the elevator leading to the observation deck on the top of the tower is inlaid with glass, so you can enjoy the scenery while the elevator is going up and down. There are theaters and game venues in the tower, and the top floor is a revolving restaurant. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal in the famous 360-degree revolving restaurant, or enjoy a more family-friendly casual dining in the Summit Suite buffet restaurant in the tower. The beautiful scenery is in full view. Whether it is a romantic meal for two or a family vacation, you can enjoy the luxurious and superior dining environment and world-class culinary cuisine! During the dining period, Ride-to-the-Top and Indoor/Outdoor Observation Deck Niagara Falls are free to enter.

Old Fort Niagara State Park

The War Fort is a tourist attraction of great historical value. It existed at the mouth of the Niagara River leading from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie before the independence of the United States. Therefore, it played a very important role in the Indian-French War, the American War of Independence, and the Anglo-American War at that time. Behind it is the vast Lake Ontario, one of the five Great Lakes of the United States.

Lake Ontario

Lake Ontario is an ecological wonder. Every drop of water within the Great Lakes basin flows through Lake Ontario. Being so close to the Atlantic Ocean makes Lake Ontario a crucial corridor for transportation, water exchange, and fish migration. The diversity of habitats surrounding the lake includes sand dunes, forests, wetlands, and rocky cliffs, each providing home to thousands of plant and animal species. Not only is it home to a variety of wildlife, but Lake Ontario is home — and provides drinking water — to over 9 million people. Although it is the smallest of the Great Lakes, more Canadians live in the Lake Ontario watershed than any other watershed in the country.
