Depart early in the morning for the world-famous Niagara Falls. Start with an IMAX documentary about the falls’ history to learn about the magical, mysterious and legendary Niagara Falls as well as numerous breathtaking and stirring historical stories tied to it. Afterwards, ascend the Skylon Tower and take in the charming panoramic views from its 360-degree observation deck, admiring the magnificent American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. After a self-paid lunch at noon, board the world-famous Hornblower Niagara Cruises (*seasonal operation) to get an up-close view of the mighty cascades roaring down from high above. The surging, thunderous roar of the water is deafening and absolutely spectacular. Next, head to the renowned Niagara Falls wine region for a complimentary tasting of Canada’s signature ice wine. The unique geographic location and climatic conditions of the Niagara Peninsula nurture ice grapes that produce exceptionally distinctive, mellow wine, mainly divided into ice white wine and ice red wine. Ice white wine features a translucent golden hue, earning it the moniker "Liquid Gold". It releases aromatic notes of honey and fruits, with a sweet, rich, fresh and pleasant taste. No extra sugar is added during its brewing process, making it a favorite healthy green beverage among health-conscious people. Enjoy free time after dinner. You may admire the stunning night view of the falls illuminated by vibrant coloured lights and watch dazzling fireworks displays. Alternatively, visit the bustling Clifton Hill and ride its observation Ferris wheel for the most spectacular, stylish vantage point to soak in the full beauty of the illuminated falls at night. Overnight accommodation will be provided at a falls-area hotel located in the popular Clifton Hill tourist district.
